On-Demand Data Access

Problem:

Imagine this scenario: A vendor approaches a client with 100 employees, of which only 10 have subscribed to their service, like an annual food coupon subscription. However, if the integration syncs all employee data, it poses a challenge for HR to agree to the terms, as only the data for those 10 employees should be shared. This discrepancy risks losing a potential client or introduces numerous complications.
Consequently, the most commonly opted method is to receive employee data via CSV, which often leads to errors, delays, and prolonged back-and-forth exchanges

Solution:

This innovative feature enables vendors the ability to access selective employee data via HR consent by providing access to employee’s data of interested individuals. By granting vendors access to targeted employee data, this feature ensures a more efficient and focused approach to data access Monitoring is also a key element for HR, as it allows them to track the data being passed through and utilized.

Introducing ‘Field Controls’

As you develop integrations within Tartan, it's essential to prioritize the preference of your users' data by adhering to the principles of privacy by design. This means retrieving and syncing only the necessary information.

To facilitate this, you can utilize ‘Field Controls’.

‘Field Controls’ enable you to easily toggle specific objects and fields on or off in Tartan HRMS console using a user-friendly interface. Any adjustments made through ‘Field Controls’ will automatically apply to all linked accounts (i.e., clients) by default. However, you also have the flexibility to customize Field Controls at the individual linked-account level. For example, you can import employee banking information into Tartan for one client while disabling this field for others. This empowers you to grant clients full control over how their data is shared with us and allows for personalized data synchronization for your clients.
