2021 was the founding year of TartanHQ. As we end our first action-packed year, we thought we reflect on some of the key events and stats that shaped this year.

Tartan — Six month review

It has been a dream run till now and we are excited to share the key updates of December 2021! Let’s get started….

Increasing our Employer Coverage

We strive to expand our employee coverage each day, and we remain pretty successful. In December, we’ve expanded our coverage by 150+ employers such as giants like Crisil, TransUnion, and emerging startups like Shipsy, ClassPlus, and BankBazar to name a few within the Sync Journey for direct integration-based verification. Our employee coverage has now grown to 1500+ employers.

Major Product Release

Our Plug & Play API Solution is now live

In our constant quest to improve income and employment data for our customers, we have now embedded solutions that ease the process for the end-users.

Over the last few weeks, we piloted with more than 20 customers. We’re now live with our first customer. In our commitment to providing an excellent experience for all users, we have live Webview/iFrame supported user journeys.

Our client’s users can now complete their income and employment verification journey right during their application process. This embedded solution is helping our client in many ways:

• Major reduction in onboarding time for applicants. In turn, it helps reduce the overall time to fill the application form.
• Quicker and fool-proof verification.
• Reduced TAT for underwriting and disbursing loan amount.
• Reduction in drop-offs at Verification Stage.
• Reduction in cost and manpower for employment and income verification of applicants.

Major Feature Release

Get downloaded payslips from the sources to the normalized TartanHQ data fields

Payslips download is available on the dashboard. Payslips download through API response is coming soon!

TartanHQ will facilitate its clients to access the payslips of its users within the Webhook response through Tartan API modules.

Clients will now be able to access payslips directly from Tartan even in the Integrated Verification Journey embedded in their product — websites and mobile apps.

API Documentation is now live!

Being a FinTech Infra startup, we realized early on how important it is to provide a developer-friendly experience. That’s why we are releasing our API documentation.

We invite developers to start building journeys with us.

Batik’s Brand New Website

We have launched the Batik website.

Through Batik, we invite employers to link their payroll accounts with us and offer customizable benefits to their employees. Currently, we provide 17+ products from different categories such as Insurance, Finance, Health cards, etc, and 100+ brands in coupon categories ranging from top brands on our platform.

Apart from existing products from partners like Kenko, Ucare, and CouponDunia, we are going live with another 10 products such as:

• Eduvanz: BNPL for Apple Products such as MacBook, iPad & iPhone; and EMI on Revolt RV400 EV (Electric Bike).
• HomeCapital: Down Payment Assistance Program & Singularity Personal Loans.
• XPCover: Hospicash Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance & Super top-up Insurance.
