@Tartan

We are thrilled to kick off 2025 with exciting updates to our verification suite! At Tartan, we are committed to bringing innovative solutions that streamline verification processes with minimal input requirements. Many of our upcoming features, such as age verification and LPG details retrieval, will require only a mobile number as input, making your workflows simpler and more efficient. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue enhancing our suite with cutting-edge technology.

Introducing DIY APIs

DIY APIs is our latest solution, empowering users to create custom APIs tailored to their specific needs. With this feature, you can stitch together multiple APIs directly from our console, enabling you to fetch consolidated results in one seamless operation. This flexibility gives you full control over your verification journeys while reducing development time.

How DIY APIs Work:

  1. Navigate to the DIY API Section: Access the DIY API section on our console and click "Create Now" to start

  2. Set Up Your API: Enter your desired API name and description, and select the inputs you wish to use

  3. Generate APIs: Based on your inputs, proceed to view a list of APIs generated for your selection

  4. Review and Refine: In Stage 2, review the available APIs and their outputs generated from the selected inputs

  5. Finish and Create: Click "Finish & Create" to generate your custom DIY API

  6. Use Your API: Provide the selected inputs to your DIY API and receive consolidated responses from multiple APIs in a single go

DIY APIs simplify user workflows, providing flexibility and control over your integration needs.

Introducing Identity OCR

Our proprietary OCR technology now supports two key identity verification solutions:

Aadhaar OCR

This API extracts customer details directly from an Aadhaar card image, enabling seamless identity verification and KYC compliance. Key details extracted include:

  • Name

  • Date of Birth

  • Address

  • Aadhaar Validity

PAN OCR

This API facilitates swift validation and confirmation of PAN card details using OCR technology. Key details extracted include:

  • Name

  • Age

  • Date of Birth

  • PAN Number

  • PAN Validity

  • Type of PAN (Individual/Corporate)

These solutions offer unparalleled accuracy and speed, helping businesses streamline their verification processes.

Conclusion

With tools like DIY APIs giving users the ability to build their own verification journeys and Identity OCR enabling efficient information extraction from Aadhaar and PAN cards, Tartan is embracing a fresh approach to serve BFSI clients. Our solutions prioritize best-in-class accuracy, turnaround time and compliance, ensuring your business stays ahead in a competitive landscape.
