Tartan’s Product Update — November 2022

In this update, we’re introducing a focused improvement aimed at user experience and journey continuity—an enhanced Forgot Password flow within payroll selection.

Password recovery may seem like a small step, but in high-intent workflows such as payroll or verification journeys, even minor friction can break momentum. When users are forced to leave the application or navigate unclear redirects, the result is often frustration, drop-offs, and incomplete journeys.

This release is designed to prevent that.

Improved Forgot Password Flow in Payroll Selection

We’ve enhanced the Forgot Password experience to make password recovery simpler, faster, and fully in-app.

Users can now reset their passwords without leaving the application, ensuring they stay within the verification or payroll selection flow from start to finish. This eliminates unnecessary context switches and keeps users focused on completing the task at hand.

What’s improved

In-app password reset

Users no longer need to exit the application or open external pages to recover access. The entire reset process happens within the same interface.

Fewer interruptions

A smoother recovery flow reduces confusion and frustration, especially during critical steps such as payroll or HRMS selection.

Lower drop-offs

By maintaining continuity, users are far more likely to complete verification and onboarding journeys without abandoning midway.
